I'm on my erasmus year at the moment and have just spent the last eight months teaching English at an Istituto Tecnico in Puglia, Italy. Further to this I have done a lot of private tutoring both in Italy and the UK so have a good idea of how to keep a session informal but also help to maximise the student's capacity for learning and improving. Further to this I also completed a TEFL course as a second semester option at University last year. Obviously as English is my native language it will be easier for me to teach, but I have developed very good competency in Italian so conversation or basic Italian would not be a problem for me either.
